A diagram of how Mortgage Brokerage is laid out — its real navigation groups beside a working screen. It is a drawing, not a screenshot, and the rows are deliberately blank: we will not publish invented records dressed up as a real system.

Mortgage Brokerage runs the brokerage, not the mortgage. It does not originate, service or market loans — it takes the fact of a deal from whatever system originated it, and manages everything the regulator and the owner care about around that fact.

That is a deliberate line. Most brokerages already have somewhere deals are entered. What they do not have is one place holding agent licences and continuing education, the supervision evidence the principal broker is personally answerable for, compliance reviews and their sampling, complaints, the anti-money-laundering programme, and the annual return — which is why that work usually lives in a spreadsheet and a filing cabinet.

The money side is here too: commission plans and assignments, the agent ledger, reconciliation against what lenders actually paid, payout runs, a fee catalogue and year-end.

Agents get their own portal. They see their licence and its expiry, the policies waiting on their acknowledgement, approved marketing, their statements, their ledger and where they are paid — without asking the office.

Built for Ontario first. The provincial layer was designed in from the start, so other provinces are content rather than a rebuild.

Who this is for

Mortgage Brokerage is built for a particular kind of desk.

If none of these is you, it is probably the wrong app — and we would rather say so here than after you have set it up.

The principal broker

You are personally answerable for supervision, and what you actually need is evidence you can produce — not a reassurance that it happened.

Compliance and AML officers

You run review queues, sampling, complaints and the anti-money-laundering programme, and you would rather that were a system than a folder of spreadsheets.

Whoever pays the agents

You work out commissions, reconcile against what the lender actually paid, and run the payout — and you would rather not do it in a workbook that one person understands.

Small brokerages on spreadsheets

One to ten people, no compliance department, and a growing sense that a regulator's questions would take a week to answer.

What it covers

Inside Mortgage Brokerage

Licensing and continuing education

Every agent's licence, its renewal cycle and their continuing education, tracked by year rather than remembered — with what is expiring visible before it does.

Supervision and compliance evidence

Review queues, checklist templates and sampling, complaints as case files, policies with acknowledgement, and an audit trail — the evidence a principal broker is asked to produce.

Commissions through to payout

Commission plans and assignments, an agent ledger, reconciliation against what the lender actually paid, payout runs and year-end.

Every screen

The whole of Mortgage Brokerage, not the highlights.

These are the app's own sections and the 18 screens inside them — the same names you will see in the navigation once you are signed in.

Everyone licensed under the brokerage, with their supervision and their onboarding workflows attached.

The fact of a deal, imported from whatever system originated it, with what the brokerage owes the regulator around it.

The lenders you place with, and what has gone to each of them.

Retention, and examination packages assembled from the record rather than from memory.
Reports
By agent, by lender, by deal type, and who is sitting on what.

Oversight

Audit trail
Who changed what, and when, across the whole brokerage.

The brokerage, its branches, its corporate details, errors-and-omissions cover, notifications, your own fields and the defaults new agents inherit.

Beyond your own staff

The people outside your office see their own part of it.

These are separate places with their own sign-in, showing one person only what belongs to them.

Agent portal

Each agent sees what is waiting on them, the policies they have to acknowledge, approved marketing, their own licence, their statements, their ledger and where they are paid. They see their own record and nothing brokerage-wide.

Before you install

What we would rather you heard from us.

Every product page is written by someone who wants you to buy it. These are the parts that argue the other way, and they are here on purpose.

  • It is not an origination system

Mortgage Brokerage does not take applications, submit to lenders, or service anything. It ingests the fact of a deal from the system you already originate in. If what you want is origination software, Loan Office is the one to look at instead.

  • Ontario first

The product was built to Ontario's regime first. The provincial layer was designed in from the start, so supporting another province is content rather than a rebuild — but if you are outside Ontario, ask before you assume, and we will tell you plainly where it stands.

  • It produces evidence; it does not give advice

The app helps a brokerage record and produce what it is required to. Whether what you produce satisfies your regulator is between you and your regulator, and we will not tell you the software settles it.

Pricing

What Mortgage Brokerage costs

The organisation account is free. Mortgage Brokerage is priced per seat — you pay for the people you give it to, and nobody else.

The organisation is free

Creating your company on the platform costs nothing, whether or not you install an app. There is no platform fee and no bundle to buy.

Each app is priced per seat

You give an app to the people who need it, and each of those is a seat. A company of forty with six people in an app pays for six.

Every app has its own plans

An app sets its own tiers, because what separates them differs by app — a document volume in one, a part of the product in another. The marketplace shows you the plan before you install anything.

Prices are quoted, not published

What a seat costs and what each tier includes depends on the app and on how your firm is set up, so we would rather tell you than have you work it out from a table that is still moving.

30-day trial, then a plan. Installing Mortgage Brokerage starts the trial: the whole app, for your whole organisation, with no card required to begin it. When the 30 days are up you choose a plan. Until you do, the app stops opening — everything created during the trial is kept and is still there when a plan is chosen.

Prices are quoted, not published. What a seat costs and what each plan includes depends on the app and on how your firm is set up, so we would rather tell you than have you work it out from a table. Ask us what it would cost and a person will answer.

Fair use applies. A seat is priced for one person doing their job. If an organisation’s use is well beyond what its seats would normally produce, we talk to you first and agree a plan that fits — with 30 days’ notice before anything changes. Read the fair use policy.

Questions

What people ask about Mortgage Brokerage

Does this originate mortgages?

No, deliberately. It does not take applications, submit to lenders, or service loans. It takes the fact of a deal from whatever system you originate in and manages the licensing, compliance, supervision and commission work around it. If you want origination and servicing, that is Loan Office.

What does it do about the anti-money-laundering obligations?

There is a dedicated part of the app for the programme — what it requires, what has been done and what is outstanding — alongside compliance reviews, sampling and complaints. It helps you run and evidence the programme; it does not decide whether your programme is adequate.

Do agents get access to their own records?

Yes. Each agent has a portal showing what is waiting on them, policies to acknowledge, approved marketing, their licence, their statements, their ledger and where they are paid. An agent sees their own record only — nothing brokerage-wide.

Does it work outside Ontario?

It was built to Ontario's regime first, with the provincial differences designed in as content rather than as structure. If you are licensed elsewhere, ask us before assuming — we would rather tell you where it actually stands than sell you a plan for a province.

What does it cost?

The organisation account is free. Mortgage Brokerage is priced per seat, and every app starts with a 30-day trial. What the plans include, and what a seat costs, is quoted rather than published — ask us.

Do we need a separate login for each app?

No. That is the point of the platform. A person is added to your organisation once and signs in at accounts.cloudversa.io for every CloudVersa app they have been given. Removing them removes their access everywhere.

Can we get our data back out?

Yes. The information your organisation puts into an application stays yours. If you stop using CloudVersa, ask us and we will give you a copy of your data in a reasonable format before it is removed — that is written into the terms of use, not left to goodwill.

Something not answered here? Ask us — a person reads it.

Coming off a spreadsheet?

Most firms moving to Mortgage Brokerage are not leaving a competitor — they are leaving a spreadsheet, a shared drive and an inbox. We have written down where each of those stops, what a move involves, and how to get your data back out again.
