Business software, built inside a business that uses it.
CloudVersa is a platform of business applications sharing one account, one sign-in and one organisation. It is operated by Pegasus Mortgage Lending Center Inc. from Toronto.
CloudVersa started from a practical problem rather than a market study. A lending business needed a system to originate and service its loans, and the software available was either built for a much larger operation or built for none in particular.
What came out of that was Loan Office — and, underneath it, the parts every business application needs: an account, an organisation, people with roles, and a way to turn an app on. Those parts became the platform, and the platform is what makes the second app cheaper to build than the first.
Law Office is that second app. More will follow, and each one arrives into an organisation you already have rather than asking you to set one up again.
How we build
Four things we decided early and have not changed.
Built where it is used
Loan Office was written for a lending operation that runs on it — the people who use it are down the hall, and a screen that wastes their time gets reported the same day. That is a slower way to build and a much harder one to fake.
One account, not four
Every product a company buys brings another login and another user list. We took the opposite bet: the account and the organisation come first, and the apps are built on top of them.
Density where it earns its place
Software for people who work in it all day should put the information on the screen where the decision is made. We would rather a page look busy than send someone hunting through three of them.
Accessibility as a build rule
Keyboard paths, visible focus, contrast measured rather than eyeballed, and content that reflows at 320px are written into our design system and built to from the start. We have not had an outside accessibility audit — if a specific conformance level matters to you, ask us where it stands.
